About Concord FolderFax

The Concord Folder Fax application is designed to pick up files placed in monitored folders and send them using Concord’s SMTP or Web Service fax gateways.

IMPORTANT!!! – Do not setup this service to check against folders that are used for any other purpose than for this application as they will get moved or faxed if they match the list of valid file types.

System Requirements

  • To use Concord FolderFax, you must have a Concord Fax account.

  • Supported operating systems:

    • Windows 2003 - x86 / x64 / R2

    • Windows 2008 - x86 / x64 / R2

    • Windows 2012 / R2

    • Windows 7 - x86 / x64

    • Windows 8 / 8.1

    • Windows 10

  • FolderFax requires .NET 4.0

  • FolderFax requires at least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128MB is recommended).

  • FolderFax requires at least 10 megabytes (MB) of available space on the hard disk (much more can be required based on the level of traffic you wish to handle).

  • Ensure that the FolderFax application has sufficient rights to access any of its monitored folders.

  • Note: When editing configuration files on Windows 2008 and Windows 7 and higher you need to open the editor of your choice such as notepad with elevated administrator priviledges in order to save the changes made to files located in the install directory.
